No.  Richmond County Hospice serves people of all ages with all types of terminal diagnoses such as HIV/AIDS, Alheimer's disease/Dementia, cardiac disease, pulmonary disease, failure to thrive, etc. The patient's primary physician must state the person is terminally ill, has six or less months to live if the disease follows its usual
course and is not seeking curative treatment.
